Brissy

We just got back from Melbourne 2 days ago, and the weather was so chilly compared to Brisbane! But anyway, before Melbourne whilst we were back in Brisbane, we were pretty much just relaxing and bumming around.

The day after I arrived in Brisbane, we watched Breaking Dawn (yes, my doing) and had a small bite to eat at Grill'd before the show.

Bubble tea

The next day we headed out early to take a drive to the Goldcoast. Wallace cut all the fruits for us for breakfast :)

We went to the beach, but unfortunately the weather wasn't good. It was overcast and the sun wasn't out. The worst part was that it was really windy and cold. But oh well, better luck next time.

After grabbing lunch we went to Harbourtown for shopping! Think I've mentioned Harbourtown a few times before. Haha poor Wallace had to carry all the bags. BUT I must say that I didn't go as crazy as I had before. Most of the heavy stuff (the big brown bag) was part of the wedding deco. And I only bought 3 pieces of clothing from Valleygirl.

We found some really good buys though. For example, I found Forever New heels in my size for $20. There was also Polo Ralph Lauren at 60% off - I bought a dress and Wallace bought a new polo and shorts!

After we left, we went back to Brisbane and had dinner with Wallace's physio friends at the Caxton. (Wore my new Supre clothes and mentioned Forever New heels)

Me with Rebecca and Nadine. Rebecca got top honours student! Wallace calls her a superwoman. Haha.

We also had lunch with Raj and Bob at Cyber City, which is a place in Chinatown with pretty good zhi char food. Here's the salt and pepper soft shell crab.

Wallace absolutely loves their pig intestines in XO sauce.

Ma Po tofu

Raj and Wallace digging in. Bob didn't come until later.

For dessert we headed to Max Brenner's! I've been told that I MUST visit the Australian one (apparently it's much better than the Singapore branches).

Desserts galore!

It was very crowded, there always seemed to be a queue!

While waiting for the drinks to arrive I took a look around the store. Bought 2 items!

Raj and Bob had the cappuccino. Looks sick huh!

Wallace had some lime thing and I had the Peanut Butter and Chocolate drink. So rich!

What I bought - a small block of dark chocolate and a box of milk chocolate cubes filled with peanut butter and roasted peanut bits.

Haven't tried them but I think it'll be good! :)

It's supposed to be a gift so you can even write a message at the back of the box.

So yeah, if you saw my Facebook or Twitter you'd know that Wallace had his graduation ceremony last Friday. It was a really busy day (his parents came in the morning) and we flew off to Melbourne with his mum the day after. Now that we're back in Brisbane and his mum's gone back to Singapore, we just have to pack up everything and prepare to fly back to Singapore for good on Sunday. I know Wallace is definitely sad to be leaving Australia because he's enjoyed living here so much, and of course he's going to miss his friends alot. At least when we fly back this time, we'll have each other :)
