the crazy week has arrived. the week we have all dreaded. it's been/going to be utterly busy.

yesterday was CRAZY. it was WEIRD. my mental clock was totally SCREWED. i took an 8 hour nap from 5 pm to 1 am. on the living room sofa. i woke up to bathe and study some amaths. and then i went back to sleep at 3 all the way till 6.30. so technically, i was only awake for 10 and a half hours on monday.


it's irritating how you can't remember what you did the day before, when you don't get enough sleep.


chapel on monday was good. it's amazing how just by placing your hands on the keyboard, or putting your fingers on a guitar, a whole chapel of people can come and worship the Lord together. Steven Chong came and spoke about knowing God's will in our career. haha i think he did a good job! hmm wonder why i haven't seen him in church for a long time.


long day tmr. i don't wanna wear guides u the WHOLE DAY tmr! thinking day. don't we think EVERY day?

another crazy week has passed, and another crazy week's about to begin.


thurs after school me, asyikin, shern and ah soh went to swensens at holland v! haha asyikin had the sudden urge to. i still beat her in the end. again. haha. i ate 6 scoops! :D i tell you we were high ok. even before we got there. hahahaha. we were laughing so much! before during and after! so after swensens at holland v, i went to swensens at suntec! yes. cos it was meg's birthday so we were meeting some friends to celebrate. hahaha i didn't order anything though. i'm not THAT big a pig. :P i gave meg the present i made for her. it's a file (the hard transparent type that has those clicky things to open and close) and then i put pictures of her ALL over it. laminated them on. everywhere was filled! outside, inside. haha super cute i tell you! i shall post a picture of it soon.


friday i didn't go for tuition, went to aunty corrine's place for the ex-lg6 gathering. (yea i know i'm not even lg 5. haha. but i was invited.) it was quite fun! had dinner, talk talk talk. then we were having discussions and stuff. about kids, about relationships, about plans, about evolution, about the youth ministry, about diving... there was me, ge, lixin, lihui, shuling, raveen, laurencia, as well as aunty corrine, uncle ronny and rachel. haha it was so late when i got home. i think it was almost 1!


saturday was bio tuition in the morning. and then went with ge to pick up his new car!!! :D AHHH. it's crazy la! hmmm was i technically the first person to ride in it? cos his dad was in the front seat too when we drove out of the carpark place. then after that he got out and drove his own car home, and i moved in front and geand i drove back. hahahaha. ge is such a show-off i tell you. we drove to acjc fun-o-rama! saw alot of ppl! met up with kegan and gloria. lionel and rachel were there but i didn't see them. i saw darren, shuling, wendy, andrew, joce, shawn, ivan leong, justyn, mg ppl like tammy, asyikin, gina etc. haha great job guys, had fun! i thank God really, i tell you. i didn't fish out a single cent from my wallet for any of the tickets. lots of kind ppl gave them to me. a great big THANK YOU to all of you! hahaha. i had like $80++ worth of tickets la! :D


so when i got home, went with mum to orchard to check out the Nikon roadshow. bought a new cam! FINALLY! then we went to m1 at paragon and got my new phone! it is SO PREETY i tell you. Nokia's L'Amour collection. 7360. i was just fantasising over it to darren that time we saw the ad on tv during cny, and on thurs when we saw the postcard advertising it ourside swensens. coolios. i love it. :)


i woke up late. at like 9. cos i slept at 3.30 typing out all my sms-es from my old phone into the com. sorry la. precious words from precious friends that i can't afford to forget. love you all! :) my inbox has like, 130 messages, but of course i didn't type them all. hahaha.


apparently jacelyn tay (the actress) was at church today. and everyone but me saw her. hmph. unfair. hahaha. well meg got her autograph on her sunday school workbook! hahaha. hmmm maybe she'll come again next week then i can get to see her. (although i've seen her once before at PS a long time ago..)


playing for chapel tmr. steven chong is speaking! and i gotta be there by 6.45. somebody help me.

i know it's late, but i dunno i just feel like blogging. i was supposed to do SS yesterday. but i postponed it to today. now i'm postponing it to tmr again.


wth is wrong with me.


i really wish i had more time on my hands. i'm staying back everyday the whole week except friday. tmr will be full for the whole day, since i'm staying back for chinese, and it's meg's birthday so we're going out to celebrate. :)


i know i won't have time to do SS tmr. but i'm still not doing it. why? no time? lazy? i've been doing other stuff today like being at guides after school, getting the stuff and making meg's present, practicing for emaths test tmr, geog etc. and so i have an SEQ laeft lying down there. i'm so dead i tell you.


recently i realised how dependent we can be on electronics. simple things like your handphone, or even your computer, you won't be able to live without. on sunday i forgot to bring my phone out of the house to church. the whole day, i was quite disoriented and stuff. haha. i mean it's like, you feel so insecure without your phone, like no one can contact you and you can't contact anyone.. humans are so reliant on our creations...


well anyway, yesterday was Valentine's Day! well firstly, it's a special day for ppl to tell their loved ones that 'i love you', and show their appreciation and care towards you. it's a meaningful day, no doubt, but why do people have to have a specific day for this? don't they love each other just as much on any other ordinary day? do they have to wait for this annual occasion to come about to express their love to those around them? everyday should be V. Day! we shouldn't wait or hesitate to show our love. haha but nonetheless, i think Valentines Day is sweet and lovely and you get all the love is in the air feelings.. and this special day is a day where you can love, and be loved, not that you aren't on other days. but here, at least you know, and at least you see the love going around. and as they say, love makes the world go round!

well, all i can say is that i'm SO relieved for Chinese O Level results. and i'm really really really glad and THANK YOU LORD! overall mg did quite well for Os. better than the previous batch, which was quite a surprise for the teachers. haha. well it was so scary. seeing everyone getting back their results. ppl jumping up and down, ppl crying, ppl on the phone... although i didn't get to see the girls actually getting their results (cos i got mine in the classroom :S), it was still.. like they work so hard just for this you know. haha. stress man. haha i guarantee you - i will cry before i get my results. maybe even during, i was telling shern. hahaha. and you know, maybe after i get them too. regardless of my results, i will be crying. haha. i don't know why. i guess it's cos all your hard work comes to this - your results for the Os. (yea not counting the learning preocesses and stuff)


on a not so good note though, bio test was disappointing. i didn't even get 70%. missed that by half a mark! :( well, mr tay hasn't gone through the paper so i hope i'll be able to squeeze out somemore marks. :P haha. ge said it was disgraceful. oh well. i tried! and i wanna do well! but he still gave me my present for Chinese results. :D although it was mentionable that he got cheated and the thing was like, broken even before i took it out of the wrapper. hahaha.


i've got a chinese test tomorrow and i don't even know what we're tested on. again. hahaha.

what is it with perverted lorry drivers?!?!
yesterday while i was walking to church for worship prac with char, this lorry drove pass us and the pervert made this disgusting kissing noise at me. i wasn't even looking at him or doing anything! i was just walking! and i wasn't even wearing something fantastic or anything! after that i was like O.O and just stood there. then i looked abd char and she was like, grinning and nodding her head with this 'what?!' expression too. ah! (she was walking on the inside i was walking on the outside, closer to the traffic) she thinks it was an indian. i didn't even get to see the freakin guy's face! and that wasn't the first time ok! that was the second time. the first was just plain freaky la. it was the time i got lost trying to find wendy's house. then i was standing at this ulu bus stop with no buildings nearby but alot of traffic. and i was trying to flag a cab or bus. then this lorry slowed down next to me and the guy (like, late 20s, early 30s chinese guy) was like smiling and motioned for me to like, get onto his lorry!! i just stared at him. it was freaky la! luckly i wasn't THAT near the road and the cars. and i was on the phone with wen. haha. plus i was wearing tshirt and shorts?! my cutecute elmo shirt from thailand!


after worship practice went with ge to jlo's birthday at grapevine. yumm! there were 7 of us. darren was there too. so after dinner we drove to, of all places, the cemetry. yes. to spook ourselves. we drove in, and there was this group of ppl sitting in a circle. ... ... maybe it was some camp thing? well we just drove in and drove out. went to rifle range road. near school. the road with no lights! then they wanted to go back to the cemetry and walk around! so the crazy ppl went back. (does that mean i'm crazy too?) and we got out of the car and walked down the path! the group of ppl had disappeared though. at first we wanted to go back and scare them. walk up to them and just stare... hahaha. but oh well. it was kinda spooky walking around in the dark. there was only the moonlight to guide us. and there were these 3 candles burning away. and they were placed in the shape of a triangle.. well we turned back went the stupid ants started biting.. painful!! we were walking for quite long i think. more than 15 minutes? haha well. what can i say.


ok well gtg. i came home straight from church and slept for 3 hours. haha.

bio test results. yea ok although it's a test and won't count in anyway whatsoever in prelims/Os or anything, if i don't get at least 75%, i will suffer. well ge, at least you know it's instilled in me. i want my present.


haha yea well te lack of entries lately just reflects the amount of free time i've had these past few days. i think the last time i came online was last week! haha oh well. i've been praying for better time management. it seems like i have so little spare time, and i'm so busy doing so much stuff. like, since saturday night i've been getting less than or equal to (tea time! HAHA!) 6 hours of sleep a day.
saturday: slept at 3.30. ahem. / 5 hours
sunday: slept at 1 /5 and a half hours
monday: slept at 1 /5 and a half hours
tuesday: slept at 12.30 /6 hours
wednesday: slept at 12.30 /6 hours

yea well it may not be as little as other ppl, but it's not enough for me! but what can i do. you can't expect me to leave my work half-done, or even worse, not do it at all right? pray.


hmm lets see.. last thursday went to ngee ann open house with ahsoh 1, ahsoh 2, asyikin and radha. met shereen. she showed me around after the others left. the tourism course sounds really interesting. not that i'm planning to go to poly. haha. well went back to my house together and she stayed overnight. haha we were talking in bed till like 12.30! glad she's finally back! :)


monday i went with phoebs to j8 while the rest of the like, cohort went to watch I Not Stupid 2. visited boon at OSIM! hahahaha he looked so weird in the uniform!


tuesday had meeting in church regarding youth min. it was quite good. man, my O LEVELS. muddy Os! (hahaha! muddy ahmah---) i guess if i wanna fully join and fully commit to a comm or sub-comm it'll have to be after my Os. :(


oh well. i'm looking forward to the weekend. a short BREAK from school!


Lord, i pray for ichthus 4. grant us the hall.


edit: i forgot to mention! on sunday i went to ask pastor liew whether he could speak for ichthus 4, before service. he said he had to check his schedule, so he asked me to go up to his office with him. and then he was like, "Come, sit, sit..." and stuff. hahaha it was so weird la! like speaking to your boss with the desk in between you and stuff. haha but he was really nice. just that he can't remember people very well. hahaha. i've been introduced to him/ introduced myself to him for more than 3 times and he still couldn't remember me! only when i told him that megan is my sister, THEN he recalled. hahaha.

well it's that time of the year again. RED, ang paos, mandarin oranges, new year goodies, visitations, ji li hua, new clothes!


Chinese New Year this time round was pretty good. but it was different. much different, if you get what i mean.


i still miss him alot. and we're especially reminded of him now. even watching The Little Mermaid makes me think of him and cry!


oh well.


friday was CNY celebrations in school. went out with phoebs and jamie koh cos phoebs needed cny clothes! haha. according to them, i can be a fashion consultant when i grow up. (?!)


saturday, went to botanical gardens for jon's farewell. (from the contemp team) we played ultimate frisbee! and i got significantly darker. yes. in like an hour i can get tanner and my classmates can notice when we come back to school. after that ge and i left. went to his house to wash up, and then bio tuition. on chinese new year eve! not that i'm not grateful for it. :)


sunday went to church for service, and then went to visit my dad at Trinity Church. haha lunch was quite happy. i just had that happy feeling... like, the "i love my family" kind of feeling. well, went home took a nap. ge came over to bai nian. he stayed for steamboat! yumz. oh and he helped 'fix' the toilet bowl. hahaha. hmm i dunno whether you call it fixed, but at least the waters' not leaking out anymore! haha.


monday was visitations. had lunch at ahgong's place with everyone. then we went to ti po's house to bai nian. at like 6.45 i left for joel's place. CNY LG 4 party! hahaha. i reached there quite late. only stayed for 1 and a half hours! :( played mahjong! haha. when i went back home the cousins were at our place! haha. playing bluff.


yesterday we went to grand aunty amy's place for lunch. i brought my bio stuff and intended to study, but i ended up playing mahjong again! haha i won quite a few rounds. must be the good fengshui. :) hahaha just kidding..


ohohoh and i went to elvine's party! he's ge's best friend and his mum's an MP. so last night we went to the party. (his house is unbelievable have i told you? i think it was my 2nd or 3rd time there) it was a preety big affair. there was a band, photographer.. even the speaker of parliament was there.. and i chatted with his daughter.. and here's the highlight:

for like 10 minutes! he came to talk to us first.. then we were talking about his new movie, about army, his next movie etc. haha oh man oh man. there was me, ge, darren and jlo. darren close your jaw already. hahahaha.


today, back to school. so cool. guides ended like, 40 minutes early. :D


bio test and amaths test tomorrow. 3 chapters of bio, and i haven't started. it's 7.46 pm. if i don't get more than 80%, ge's gonna slaughter me. :S
