yes, it's still busy with school and stuff and other things, but i'm managing. coping better. although for the past 2 nights i've been sleeping at 1.30 and gotten 5 hours of sleep.


monday was, well, good and bad. my mood was dampened a bit. troubles. sigh. but at least uncle edmond helped to settle things a bit. so it should be alright for now.


yesterday. after school phoebs and i stayed back in the library to do english. i went to watch I Not Stupid Too with ge, darren and jloh (their classmate). same group who went to Grapevine on friday. :D so when i reached home from school at like 4.30, i went to shower and left the house. i went to ge's office to meet him! haha. the inside looks so cool loh. his work cubicle is a junkyard though. haha. the movie was supposed to start at 7, and we were running late! in the end we reached Prince at 7.30. but luckily the movie hadn't started. met darren and jloh. the theatre was MEGA HUGE la. it's like, more than double your normal cinema! i think it was some kind of premiere. cos after that when we stepped out, we saw one of the actors, Huang Yi Liang. then they were like interviewing him. haha. oh, by the way the show was REALLY good. i don't care what the critics say (i just read in Life! today that they gave it 2 stars) but you should go and watch it! some parts were just HILARIOUS. and some really tugged at your heart strings. haha i admit my eyes welled up a bit at some parts. so then we had dinner, went back to ge's house and he drove me home. i reached home at like, 11.30! i finished my emaths and slept at 1.30. :P


yes ok i'm sorry. people say i'm playing too much. and i'm SEC 4 this year! ahh. i've really gotta cut down on this. hahaha. oh well. yesterday was really good though. :)


oh yea. today cos we had physics prac and ended early, ms orh let us off 10 mins earlier. equals 55 minute recess!! that's like almost an hour. COOLIOS. as ah soh says: "45 minute recesses are DA BOMB!"

haven't blogged for almost a week.. it's been really busy and eventful!


wednesday i went for the History Humanities Seminar at HCI. phoebe dragged me along. but she made up for it with a dinner treat. :D hahaha. finally got to see the guy so talked-about huh.


ok well it was jon's birthday! happy sweet sixteen jon! so after the seminar i went to kegan's house to finish up jon's present.








reached jon's home at 7 plus. hahaha we had everything planned out soooo well ok! we collaborated with his mum on sunday. she asked the maid to bring the dog out for a walk so that it wouldn't bark like mad when we went in. and she asked jon to go and bathe cos her 'friend' was coming over for dinner. hahaha. so we snuck into his room and left the presents there.


then we went downstairs, seeing that it wouldn't be too happy for jon to come into his room in a towel and see us there.. hahaha. so when he came out and went into his room ,we rushed upstaris (although i was a bit late) and SURPRISED HIM! BIG TIME! hahahaha. we were like "SURPRISE!!!" and then burst into the happy birthday song. hahaha he was UTTERLY SHOCKED i tell you. speechless! for once! hahaha. we went down, watch ami, had dinner. and he was still shocked after like 15 minutes. he couldn't believed we actually fooled him! hahaha. :D

hmmm friday was heritage tour. the culture was peranakan this time. i bought earrings! and a GREEN bracelet with phoebs. and a LADYBUG purse. plus presents for gloria and sabs. students: HALF PRICE! hehehe.


parent teacher seminar. after that i was STRESSED! O levels.. JC.. and everything's coming so fast! mids are in may! and i'll be studying during my birthday. :(

well after the seminar went for supper with ge, darren and their classmate. at GRAPEVINE! that place is unbelievable la. best food ever. :) reached home at like 12.30 and did ying yong wen. yea i'm crazy.. slept at 2 plus. haha.


yesterday was Fusion! worship was great! :D Praise the Lord! they showed the ONE Camp dvd! :D hahaha. jon made us wear the ONE Camp shirts and made me feel weird cos we were the only ones wearing it...


after that we went for gloria's party. happy birthday gloria! :) hung around for awhile and left at midnight with ge. you know everytime the both of us go to gloria's house, which is at Elizabeth Drive, (yes, my road thank you very much) i always do. hahaha. get what i mean? ge let me get behind the wheel... and actually D**** the bloody car. second time already. hahaha. (SHHHHHH!!!!!) :D


today was our kkmc's 112th anniversary! happy birthday kkmc! WE ROCK!!!!! hahaha. well had to skip service and chair ichthus 4 meeting. our fist meeting! haha. it went quite well. everything's sorta planned out. thank you Lord! :)


after that went for anniversary lunch! then went to orchard to surprise sab and celebrate her birthday. happy birthday sab! even though it's tomorrow. hahaha. :)


i'm STRESSED. i have 3 tests tomorrow, one online test i have to do by tues, and another test on thursday. CRAZY loh! oh wells.

ok i shan't start with the bad first. on saturday, to cut the long story short, bio tuition with ge was postponed 1 hour. (HA! :D) we did excretion. and ge taught me some jc stuff so i could "show off to my friends". hahaha. well anyway after that i slept from 1.30 to 6. can you believe it? and i woke up 10 mins before tuition was supposed to start. hahaha.


sunday, we only had 5 ppl in lifegroup. :( where did everyone go??? anyway, after lg went for service. ge and i did the offertory! We All Bow Down by Lenny LeBlanc. that song is really really really nice. i was SO nervous. you know when you step on the pedal? my leg was shaking so bad! hahaha i tried to stop but it couldn't! lol. but the grand piano. BEST. thank God that the offertory went well!


went for lunch at the mee kia da store! man i miss the old days. haha my dad would order seconds, and my mum would get teh cam si, and the boss would give us fishcake!


after that kegan and i went to Art Friend, then went to his house to continue making the *******. the *****'s SO NICE! the other one's not done yet though. so we're gonna finish it on wed. at like 5.30 we left for wen's house. played bridge and MAHJONG! I WON MY FIRST GAME OF MAHJONG! :D but with the help of kegan. hahaha.


today was.. haiya ok here come's all the caps. first, IMCB. this bio seminar thing. to cut the long story sort, me and phoebs may HAVE to go if we can't find replacements, even if we don't want to go. and we have to miss THREE WHOLE DAYS OF LESSONS + HERITAGE TOUR!!!!!!! which is NOT GOOD. AT ALL! our LAST heritage tour in mg!! all cos of ** ***. we're PRAYING for a miracle. that we don't have to go.


next, GEOG and SS test tomorrow. AH. THREE WHOLE CHAPTERS OF GEOG. i don't feel prepared at all!


then there's GEOG PROJEECT. which i have NO idea whatsoever when we have to submit. and ahsoh 2 just msg-ed me that she can't make it for the meeting tmr cos of cca... oh and all the HOMEWORK...


oh, and ICHTHUS 4. which i totally forgot about until like, 1 or 2 weeks ago. i was planning to talk to steven chong about it but i hadn't seen him lately. and just today, ek called. STEVEN CHONG HAS STEPPED DOWN as Youth Coordinator! for UNKNOWN REASONS. so the ppl running the show now are the 3 musketeers: ek, raveen and soon theen. yes and so Ichthus 4 is supposed to be on 18th Feb which is like 1 month away and ek told me i have to get 1 member from each lifegroup to be in the comm. just when i had planned who to ask... (don't worry eng kiat it's not your fault. no pressure remember!) yea but i'm really excited to chair Ichthus 4. boohoo. one of the last things i get to do before mugging...........

ok but stress is GOOD! (although not too much) haha it's funny how i think it's good to get this overly-stressed sometimes. reminds me that i'm not wasting away or idling around. and that i've got a goal and something to chase after.


it's only the 3rd week of school??? i ask.


but it's sec 4 after all. right.


AIYAAAAAA. but this is all just a phase, and everything will settle in time to come. like the Bible says "let tomorrow worry for itself". yep so i'm gonna cast all my cares upon Him. i shan't worry about how i'm gonna do for my 2 tests tomorrow, how Ichthus is supposed to be planned in 4 weeks, how i might have to miss 3 whole days of lessons and the heritage tour...

but i still have bio tuition which, i managed to negotiate to 9.30 am.
and i have 2 tests on tuesday.


tuesday was a public holiday! on monday night i went to watch this STUPID show- A Chinese Tall Story with ge at like, 9.40 pm? it was funny at some parts but really just lame and retarded at others. hahaha.


on tuesday morning headed to kegan's house to make ***'* ******** *******! hahaha his dad's really funny. in both ways. the humorous way and the, uh, weird way. hahaha. and, I DIDN"T KNOW HE HAS A POOL TABLE. and, THE WHOLE THIRD FLOOR IS HIS ROOM. (although it's just the size of a normal room but STILL.) anyway, after that we went to randall's house to make the other ******* cos we needed to borrow stuff. yep so then we left to play badminton! me, kegan, randall, char, wendy, brian, rach, joce, shawn, jason, marie, sab and her friend zhiqing. it was fun! haha. but the next day i was aching so bad! my gluteus maximus was sore and i couldn't sit and stand normally! hahahaha. luckily it's a bit better now.


so after badminton and bridge, we went back to randall's place. hung around, had pizza for dinner, played cards. took a cab back cos i still had to do some geog research! :P


wednesday had guides. i helped decorate the guides board! it's so colourful now. :) but it's not done yet. haha.


ok i'd better go. only 4 subjects tomorrow! 1 and a half hours and english, chinese and chem, 45 minutes of bio. the horror....

according to jason, i blog little. so now, even though it's sunday 12.34 am and i have school tomorrow, i am blogging, as you can tell by now. don't worry jason it's not your fault if i can't wake up tomorrow. i just feel like blogging. hahaha.


school's been ok. friday had tuition with feimao. did one of those SUPER 3-page-long (and it's the teenyweeny squares, not your usual kind) zuo wens. after that met ge and his rugger friend plus his gf for supper.


yesterday (saturday) was supposed to meet at 9 for prata breakfast at thomson, then go to wendy's house. haha i woke up at 9. :P but most of us were late anyway. but to cut the long story short, i ended up taking 2 and a half hours trying to find the bloody place. sorry. my fault. as you can tell my sense of direction that day was failing me. luckily i met kegan by pure coincidence on the bus. haha. phew. so we went to play pool at wen's house. and I BEAT SHAWN! mwahaha. (but he beat me today so oh wells.) after awhile at like 6 plus after everyone else left, jason and i went for dinner. haha. which is when i earned a new chatting buddy! haha we ended up heading home at 9.30. yay cool. now i've got a first official chatting buddy! haha.


today went to church. FINALLY our first lg session and contemp service since we came back from mission trip! and first ones of the year too. this year my lg got uncle guan teck and aunty margorie. today's lesson was quite alright i think. they said they plan to do a bible study from james to revelations this year. service was quite good today. worship was good. we had our first sermon from the new pastor. i think it's good that he was able to engage the audience with all the live demos. like the napkin trick, and the hotdog bun thing! hahaha.


oh yea! today Ao1 wore our shirts! hehe. cool eh. :)


after service all of us hung around. in the end some went to BK to buy back to church since it was raining. then we went to wendy's house again. played pool and cards. sigh i didn't play very well today. haha. beginner mah. :P well went home for dinner at like 9.45. then just now ge stopped by to pass me our sleeping bags and stuff.


pe tomorrow! we got a new pe teacher. :S haven't heard very good things about him so far. but oh well. have to stay back for higher chinese tmr too! bleagh.

school's back! it's been alright. had lessons on the first day. yea yea. sec 4 Os i know. but oh well. it's been rather busy for me. mainly cos i've been rushing to finish holiday hw. :P hehe. no joke! everyday more than 2 hours straight of work! and it's only third day! hahaha. luckily my hol hw's about done.


4a4. it's weird being back at school again.. miss seeing all my church friends.. and it's weird that we're the oldest in school now!


oh yea. meg's in 1.1. haha everyone says she's so cute. even my geog teacher! her daughter is meg's buddy. she was raving how cute meg was the other day to the whole class. *covers face!* oh and i found out something else too. she is darren koh's aunt!! i was like WHAT?! when she told me. hahaha. so qiao!


on new year's eve we went for watchnight service. sent pastor chiang off. :( SO SAD that he's leaving! and i won't even be seeing him in school too! oh well.


church the next day we sold longans/coffee/honey from lahu. after that went for lunch and then to randall's house to play badminton/soccer/basketball. haha.


monday was mission trippers gathering! sadly, out last official one. got to see ALOT of vids. (see until sian. hahaha) man for the hundredth time, i still miss lahu!


anyway, hope this year's gonna be great. hmm. is that expecting too much? after all, i do have the Os this year. ahh okok don't talk about depressing things anymore!


i'm slowly increasing my collection of mission trip/christmas pics. haha. gonna get all of wendy's ones plus joce's ones on sat! yipee! :D
