WAKEBOARDING! whoo!

it's supposed to be Saturday since it's 1.06 am, but i shall treat it as Friday still.


yesterday (thurs) morning i went WAKEBOARDING! with my ge, darren, lixin and lihui. haha it was really interesting cos the night before, while i was talking to shawn my cuzzie (yea until, 2 am?) i got locked out of my room! all because char locked the door (although she didn't remember doing so) and fell asleep. try as we might, we couldn't wake her up. so i had to sleep on the couch outside. haha. well i prayed real hard that she'd be able to wake up the next morning when we tried to call her up. i was like 'oh man i'm DEAD if she doesn't open that door' cos ALL my stuff was inside! my phone, my wallet... so thank God my mum managed to wake her up.

yep so at 8 am the twins came over and ge picked us up. then darren. so we got to punggol before 9. changed and stuff, and got into the boat! don't know the guy's name, but he wasn't bad. for the girls it was our first time. so i was really quite apprehensive! before that, ge had asked me a few times to go wakeboarding. and i was like nah. haha well i managed to stand on the 5th try. although i fell after like, 3 seconds? but ge says i'm very good. haha. although lixin was better! i think she did it on the 2nd or 3rd try! oh and darren's really good! even ge says so. cos he snowboards too. we went for hours for 5 ppl. hmmm but you know i think the guy let me go for the shortest amount of time! no fair! :( the first round when i first managed to stand, he said swap. then at the second round i managed to go for quite long. but only after like, 3 times he said switch. haiz. but nevertheless, it was FUN! FUN! FUN! :) :) :) hahaha. although the water was like, really salty! and it was very tiring! haha i think today all of us ached somewhere or another. mine's only the neck/shoulder/upper arm there. haha. oh yea and i've got an uneven tan. :P


so after washing up we went to eat jalan kayu prata! deelicious! with milo dinosaur. yum. :D so after that we went to ge's place and we all fell asleep. so tired. haha. reached home at like, 7.


so today (friday) i woke up at like, 1. then i ate lunch and stuff. then i fell asleep at 3. and i woke up at, 7.30. haha. so at that point i'd only been awake for like, 2 hours? hahaha. hmm was boarding that tiring? haha nah i guess i was just too lazy.

haha okok i don't wanna talk about homework!


we're gonna go wakeboarding again maybe in jan/feb. hopefully i'll get more boarding time :)

merry merry christmas to you to you all

past few days have been really fun. but most of all, it's been meaningful to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. cos that's what Christmas is all about right? oh and today's my parents' wedding anniversary. :)


well anyway, since we've come back from the mission trip... went to watch narnia with the others on friday. it wasn't bad. after that we went to eat dinner at swensens! topless 5! :D bought santa hats too. after that wallace (ge) fetched me, char and gloria home with darren. haha, gloria stays at Elizabeth Drive. and i literally did! shhh!


on saturday me, ge, randall, jon and kegan met up to watch king kong. the ending's so sad! but i didn't cry ok! after that went to ge's house for dinner. changed for service (yea, service must be a bit more formal right?) hehe. ge almost nose-bled. lol. my $3 top! :D


some parts of service were a bit draggy. was falling asleep at some parts. haha. :P well after that we had alot of photo taking! so fun! after that we went for supper. tau hui! ge fetched me, char, shawn and jeremy home. and my 2 dear cousins stayed over at my place. shawn and i were supposed to plan the games for the next day but we were SO sleepy.


next day, woke up a bit late.. got ready in a flurry. in the end ge called so we got a lift to church. haha. service wasn't bad. sang alot of funky songs man. after service we exchanged presents! and took pictures! i have yet to get ALOT of pictures. don't worry. i'll have a special post for pictures. sometime soon i hope. :D after that we went out for lunch at this chinese restaurant. and then me, char and shawn went back to my place.


luckily we didn't take very long to plan the games. we were SLEEPY. so we fell asleep on the couch. DIFFERENT couches that is. haha. so funny. aunty molly was there when we came in. then i said hesitantly (cos i wasn't sure i got the name right) "hi aunty amy!" instead of aunty molly. haha. and then she thought shawn was my bf cos she couldn't recognise him as her grand-nephew! lol.


our family christmas gathering was at my place as usual. it was a bit different this time. my dad and shereen weren't here, for one. and we didn't have any christmas decorations at all. hmm. well food was good as always. the games went ok. although i was really tired after that. haha. opened presents! i got 5 bags! oh and 2 koala biscuits. haha! thanks everyone for the presents! too bad we couldn't go to raveen's house for the gathering. but oh well.


today went out with ge after lunch to shop for my christmas present at the christian warehouse place. SKS Books Warehouse at Outram Road. it was too ex! so i decided he shouldn't get it. i bought char's christmas present! haha. went to the other christian stores at bras basar but they were closed. :( didn't buy my present in the end. oh well. went out for dinner with my mum. went to beauty world.. and we got so hooked onto shopping we left at like, 11 plus. haha, the shop kept open specially for us cos we were the last customers! i bought 2 blouses from the 1st shop, another 2 from the other one (the one which kept open for us), which they tailored on the spot. and a dress! hehe. what can i say, i'm a happy girl. :D

i just got back from mission trip yesterday afternoon! it was fantastic! an experience like no other. i miss everything about it already! things i miss:


the team of 37 and numbering off
the cold weather and seeing the mist when you breathe
the shivering
the BATHING IN THE RIVER
the washing of dishes
the carolling
the english teaching
the painting of walls
the MEALS
the swinging on the tiny swings at the nursery
the NIGHT OUTREACH PROGRAMMES *jesus freak!*
the bumpy rides on the vans and song tiaos
the soccer matches
the cheering for team singapore, and then team Santi when we got eliminated
the face painting
the daily devotions
the sounds of the animals
the smell of the village (yea i think all my clothes smell of it now)
the Santi people
the Mae Ya Min people
and most of all... THE KIDS!


man i miss all of it ALOT! i'll blog more about it the next time. and when i get all the pictures!


oh and i slept for 16 hours yesterday. 5.30 pm all the way till 9.30 in the afternoon. haha. :P

ice skating on saturday was fun! but it gave me a blister. *ouch*


mission team left for Thailand today (sunday) :(

i go for guides camp on monday,


and i can't wait till i get to leave on tuesday...


and wake up on wednesday to fly to THAILAND!

my best friend was born in a manger...

had mission trip training again today. practised the dance for the offeratory in the sanctuary. my group's dancing for the 9.30 service! man i wanna dance at the 11.30 service. but oh wells. other than that today was ok. oh. except that i wanna change buddy. no offense, but why am i the only youth paired with an adult? and like, one of the oldest ones at that? SIGH. well, i'm tired. very. guess it was the dancing. ge woke me up at 10.30 this morning to go out for lunch with his classmate. Carls Junior! half a burger got me full. haha.


saturday was brian's birthday celebration. sprayed my hair green! haha. it was fun.


sunday had mission trip training. practised the lahu dances, and had some briefings. after that we went to attend brian tan's (the older one) dad's wake. went to ge's house after that to 'see his suit'. his friend was there too looking for this cd. haha interesting guy.


monday we had training again. packed luggage, did some carolling. haha packing the luggage was funny. we were trying to stuff all the clothes inside. i think 4 ppl were standing on top to make is close! but in the end i think the buckle kind of broke. :P


tuesday i stayed home and slacked. oh no i didn't do any homework! wednesday went for meg's orthodontic appointment, and then mum had to go to the bank. too bad it was closed. after that the 3 of us went to this Hollandse Club for dinner with a few neighbours. ohohoh! you know there's this little wooden thing, it's like a string of small little brown and green cubes joined together, then you're supposed to make the thing into a cube. i finally did it! after 2 days. haha. i spent less than 5 hours on it though. YAY. :D


i REALLY gotta start packing tmr. i should have started yesterday. i gotta pack for both my guides camp AND mission trip! wow whee. here's my schedule:
friday: pack, pack, pack.
saturday: ice skating with half of Ao1. hehe.
sunday: Jesus Freak dance offeratory, mission team is prayed for, and leaves halfway through contemp service, abandoning me and leaving me all lonely and miserable to go for my *sighs* guides camp.
monday: leave for guides camp
tuesday evening: leave halfway from camp and return home.
wednesday: wake up EARLY and reach the airport by 6.45 AM.


man, it's all passing so fast! yea i know i've said this many times, but oh man, i really don't want the holidays to end yet! it's seemed so short! I NEED MORE TIME! precious time.

ANYWAY,


went out with phoebs on thursday. talked, shopped. hehe i bought 3 new pairs of earings. :D and a new turquiose - green hairband. we refused to eat fast food, and wanted to eat something nice. so we decided to eat at Seoul Garden. haha, that was the second time that i've ever been to Seoul Garden, and it was at the same one, with the same people! (haha ok it was just phoebs whom i went with the second time but oh wells) oh man we (or rather I) ate and ate and ate. i was SO full. i couldn't walk properly after that! i burnt a noticeable amount of meat on the grill though. haha. i tried not to eat the burnt parts, but oh well. ended up eating some carbon. hahaha. i only ate 2 scoops of ice cream. i was too full! (shows alot eh) well i bought aloe vera gel for my sunburn after that. yea i know it's kinda late, but still, better late than never! sigh, now both my arms are peeling! and hands! :( i don't want my tan to go away. hahaha. anyway, had a great time. thanks phoebs! love ya!


had chinese tuition today. sigh, why did they have to start it so early. there were only like, 5 ppl in class today. haha feimao and i were talking alot! about Survivor, and she and her Camelot songs. hahaha.


ok it's 1.27 am! gotta leave the house at 9.30 tmr to go for dental. *faints* my sleeping hours are, heh, more irregular than usual. bedtime's from 2 - 3.30 am, rise and shine's always during/past lunch. i.e. after noon. haha. ok better go now!
