had 2 tests today... SS then Amaths. had to stay back after school for Amaths, cos we missed it due to DJW (discover jesus week). the test was quite hard.. SS was ok..

speaking of DJW, this year's programme was a bit disappointing. there wasn't any worship at all! :( i felt like there was something missing..there were quizzes, skits, speaker.. but just no worship! :( today was the last day anyway..

oh well, can't wait for sunday.. we'll be kaya-ing at 9! (to all Ao1s: must be punctual ah!!! musn't be late!) but i think the next few sundays i won't be able to go out after church.. mid-years are just 4 weeks away! i really have to start preparing now..but i kinda lost my exam time-table.. and today the photocopy machine at e bookshop wasn't working.. die.. dunno what to do..maybe i'll borrow over the weekend and photocopy during then..

ah...i'm having problems with Amaths.. dunno how to do WS 6 and 7 on quad. expressions and eqns. ahhh...this is bad..i really need to brush up on maths.. sighz..

u know what, i just can't wait till mid-years are over.. all the stress of exams all gone.. care-free for at least a month.. what a great feeling... then can go ice-skating with Ao1!! but its like..2 months away.. dream on liz..

swim finals are on friday.. i have guide duty.. yeoman service.. i signed up for Starter.. haven't tried that b4.. i've only been doing refreshments and trash.. ahhh..have to wear FULL guide u.. no fair!! its like gonna be so hot and stuff.. oh well, but at least we get to miss lesson for the whole of friday.. its at toa payoh swimming pool.. (so dream on shawn, u won't get to see mg gals in the pool :P)

i have 3 tests again next week.. bio on monday.. h.chinese has been pushed to friday cos lao shi can't finish teaching the ke in time.. then Emaths on wednesday.. whooo! looks like i can't go out after church on sunday guys!

oh, that reminds me.. i have to finish reading that english book by this week! its called "being a happy teenager".. its for my book bingo.. oral presentations start next week..

keep missing Ao1.. which reminds me of the tshirt design i hafta do.. which reminds me that i can't draw guys for nuts! girls np, but guys! i really cann't draw guys' hair... i mean, what's up with that? ok.. i'm not making any sense am i? okok... boon said that the man at the tshirt printing shop can draw for us.. dunno leh.. i shall attempt to draw a secent cartoon of dude, boon, da ge and ah boy doing their thang.. for the girls i've already drawn the sketches. oops. i said sketches. yes, it's only sketches in my cute lil ladybug notebook. sorry guys, i'll try to finish it asap!!

oh no.. oh no oh no oh no.. i just realised that i've been on the com everyday since sunday! that is definitely not good.. what is wrong with me?! okok. i shall make a promise to myself not to go online on...um...FRIDAY. yes. i shall not go online on friday unless it is completely necessary.

lift up your eyes now has a whole new meaning to me..since Ao1 played it on saturday, i simply can't forget how well the song went and how ppl were touched and inspired by it..couldn't get it out of my head. i could really feel god's presence in the house when we were playing it during ichthus.. i got chills down my spine! i just got this urge, and started playing all these fill ins like nobody's business. i just got inspired to do so, and they just came to me so naturally. god really does do wonders. Hallelujah!

yesterday after all the mass convos Ao1 had, it suddenly struck me. i was bursting, i wanted to let it all out:

thank you all so much for giving me the opportunity to play for the lord, and worship him together. ichthus has really brought all of us together. just shows that he brought A01 together to worship him and make music for him for a long long long long time!

last night when all this hit me, i was so full of joy and excitement, i couldn't sleep! to get rid of all the excess energy, i did 20 push ups and 40 sit ups on the bed, there and then. after that, i slowly drifted off to sleep. haha. then today in school i was so high and hyper, i was gushing to everyone about ichthus and Ao1..(don't mean to boast, but what can i say?) and i was singing lift up your eyes and my best friend on the way to h.chinese..haha..

dude gave me the honour of writing the lyrics for the bridge of Destination: Heaven. so sorry, i'm really kinda busy this week.. will try to get it done asap.. oh, and we're coming up w a tshirt design.. will try to finish it b4 sunday..after all my tests on wednesday..

we've decided to kaya every sunday from 9-9:30.. worship, sharing, and maybe someone will do a short lesson.. its a really good opportunity for Ao1 to bond and mature together in christ. then every month we'll kaya after service.. (kaya is our word for jam, in case you haven't figured it out)

oh yes..got back physics test today.. almost failed.. 14.5/25.. i think i was ranked below average for this test.. deproved alot compared to the last one. sighz. well at least i passed.. chem test tmr..on bonding and structure. i don't really get the 'ions with more than one atom' part.. but my tcher said dun need to know how it comes abt.. just memorise. but the thing is, i have to understand before i can fully know whats going on and cram everything into my head. oh wells.. will consult my dad when he gets back from the US on saturday. although the test will be over by then, at least i'll have a better understanding of it.

ah, one last thing.. i found the cd for my video cam.. but i don't know how to use it! sorry guys..guess we'll just have to wait until my dad gets back. haha. and until he does, i can't install microsoft office, cos the cd is in my dad's office, and i can't seem to work out the iTunes for my iPod mini.. and ALOT of my pics are not w me.. they're in my dad's office too. sigh. all the trouble that comes with reformatting your com. oh wellz.

but i'm still very happy and joyful..about the Ao1 thingy. yes. haha. we must rejoice in everything! praise god forevermore!

ICHTHUS 2 : Hakuna Matata

ICHTHUS 2 : Hakuna Matata totally rocked. this is gonna be loooooong.. so just bear with me ya? :D

friday - went to randall (dude) 's house for worship prac..it was our one and only prac with the whole band present! haha..all da ge's fault.. always have rugby training :P.. then went to boon's house for youth camp echoeded. we practiced for that night's worship.. jammed a bit.. then there was e skit prac.. haha.. li hui and my scene was cool.. we were shouting at each other.. but i kept on laughing. haha. "wah si lin lau bu ah!" that night after e bbq and everything (we were taking 'family pics'), we all just hung out in the attic.. then after awhile lixin and i went out to join dude and boon in e balcony. they were strumming their guitars and stuff.. then after that lihui and kegan came out too.. and our whole family just sat there and hung out. it was so peaceful and calm.. we were singing and talking.. it was e best!!!

saturday (yesterday) was ICHTHUS 2! finally, THE BIG DAY had arrived.. i was so excited.. came early, at about 12:45.. (but da ge beat me to being 1st).. then we set up e chairs while waiting for dude and boon and lixin to arrive..then when the whole family had arrived we started setting up e worship equipment. i got to play this huge $3000 keyboard. so nice to play!!! wish i had one like that.. but da ge accidentally let it drop cos e stand wasn't tight enough.. but it was fine in the end..
so then ppl started pouring in and we were practicing e songs for worship.. it was cool mann.. the sound was 'almost perfect', according to dude cos nothing's perfect except god.. so it was great. the sound, i mean. and then while the rest went up to practice e skit, (lihui and i didn't have to prac cos lionel said we were ok already. whoo hoo!) marie and i started e games. although it was quite stagnent, at least we got through with it..
anyway, after games was refreshments.. so we cld get ready for worship.. and i brought my video cam and asked lionel to record some songs for us.. so after refreshments was worship.. we started off with my best friend.. that one was a lil shaky.. but then after that it was all fine.. blessed be your name, all the heavens, lift up your eyes, through it all. lift up your eyes was the best of all, in my opinion..it went so well, it was almost too good to be true! the break was excellent!!!!

so after worship was e skit. boon and i rushed to e toilet to change onto our school uniforms! i think it was e first time alot of ppl saw me in my mg uniform. mg's the best!!!
ok so i accidentally sat on andrew's chair.. it was so embarrassing! :P so i went to share seat with kegan, cos no more chairs on the set.. but then da ge helped to get a chair for me to sit! thanks da ge!!
so anyway, the skit was great. and super funny at some parts. darius seemed so gay when he acted in his role! haha. and jian wen looked so funny and toot in his weird outfit, high socks and all! his tcher impersonation was great too. it cracked everyone up.. lihui and my scene was cool.. i managed to appear very fierce and serious, and it was so cool! haha.. especially the "wah so lin lau bu!" part.. (lihui acts as my mum.. and i'm supposed to be bad) and cutting my pocket money. haha.. it was quite fun acting in it actually.
then after e skit it was time for rev chiang to speak. the sermon was so funny! he cracked everyone up! especially the "losing your pet, unless you ate it up" and all the "stay backs" hahahahaha!!!!!!!!! thanks you so much pastor chiang!! (if you're reading this)
yup so after the sermon (pastor overshot the time limit by like, 1/2 hr) was e closing song, complete. had some mike probs, but we managed to get it fixed. complete was quite alright.. then after that was HAKUNA MATATA!! it was really fun! haha.. then after that we decided to jam my redeemer lives (its our signature song)... then we had to pack up already.. that part was abit messy though. we missed out alot of parts and dude had to put them back after everything was packed (thanks!!)
so after that abt 15 of us, including e family, went to ps for dinner.. we took up like, almost all of the 1st level of the bus.. and e family was walking ard, blindly leading everyone cos we decided not to watch a movie, and everywhere was packed. so in the end we settled down at delifrance.. and the worship family had our discussion and we came up with our name: Audience Of One ... short form: AO1...so cool right!! God is our one and only audience, not the congregation or anything. so after dinner we went to play pool. where sadly, gloria lost her wallet.. went home by bus with her..(don't worry gloria, its just earthly possessions)
and that was one really long, tiring, but fruitful and great and amazing day.

sorry but i'm gonna blog abt today now..
came early to church to prepare jina's cards and present. b4 service we had some time, so started jamming..boon on e guitar and dude singing. during service the youths all sat together.. and our pew was e family pew! but due to kegan, boon couldn't squeeze in. >.< haha. then after service we went upstairs to give jina her present.. played a few songs.. shot a few pics.. then went for lunch with dude and kegan.. BK at tekka mall. then after that went to ps to see kegan's euphonium (dunno how to spell, sorry ah boy).. then we went home. i went to the bus stop and the other 2 took mrt. on the way it started raining, and we became ichthuses (fishes) swimming in the rain. haha. then we came up w e idea of an AO1 tshirt.. gonna try out some designs later this week.
so that's basically what happened today.. not missing out the lame convos btw me,dude, boon and ah boy. oh, and lift up your eyes is now our theme song, and my redeemer lives is our signature song..haha.
wells, that's all i havta say for now..(which apparently is quite alot) keep shining for god y'all!

planet shakers concert basically rocked. i was jumping. i know it can be dangerous. it could be more emotional than spiritual. jumping, i mean. but oh well. i had alot of fun. and when we were singing "rain down on me", it brought tears to my eyes.

its been a busy holiday, busy week. tmr is worship practice and youth camp echoeded. but have to go to school to get my chem book cos tues got test and i 4got to bring home. worship prac at randall's house - have to be at hougang mrt by 10:30 a.m. then echoeded will last all the way till night.. so it'll be a really long but fun (hopefully) day.

speaking of the ichthus worship team, we're thinking of names for e family.. something to do w ichthus maybe? dunnoo.. haven't really thought of anything yet. speaking of which, ICHTHUS 2 HAKUNA MATATA is 2 DAYS AWAY!!!! i can't wait.. hmm.. wonder if i can still rem my lines for e skit..

ICESKATING - totally rocks

i went ice skating today!!! and i got a HUMONGOUS blister. its like, the size of a 50 cent coin. i mean, i didn't even know blisters could get that big! and its on the arch of my right foot. it hasn't burst yet though. anyways, i had ALOT of fun. although my feet hurt like no one's business during then. oh. i fell. once. because wan theng kicked my blade and knocked me right of me feet. and i landed on my butt. yay. whooppee. but it doesn't hurt now. and its not wan theng's fault anyway. it was her first time. she was really sporting.. she managed to skate quite ok for a first timer. i'm so proud of her :D

everyone enjoyed themselves. most of the time i was skating with jamie. we were kinda slacking and stoning alot. haha. i can't believe jer can skate for so long without getting tired. she and her IHP. tsktsk.

last monday: cut hair. its a bit shorter, and a lot thinner. yay, can tie one ponytail for school.
last tuesday (yesterday): went to boon's house to practice the skit. i got fixed onto fixing his gigantic puzzle!
wednesday (today): ice skating (from 10a.m to 6p.m) haha, LOOOOOOOONG right. sigh. no wonder i got that blister
thursday (tomorrow): lifegroup outing. gonna watch boogeyman i think. then piano. then tuition. friday: worship practice at randall's house. we're gonna play Hakuna Matata! then Planet Shakers concert in the evening!!
saturday: piano concert. sigh. just wanna get it over and done with. i'm playing a duet of the Star Wars theme song with abbie, and another individual piece.

monday: back to school :(

corny but true - jesus really is my best friend!

hey, the hols are finally here! lemmi start with friday.. after school went out w amanda goh.. orchard! haha.. then we were lugging our super heavy bags all ard orchard cos we had to brg alot of bks home.. i was badly in need of a shoulder massage when i got home. we didn't watch any movies cos the times weren't very right..had lunch at kfc..then shopped and walked ard.. i bought a new bag! hehe, and a lot of marshmallows and gummies! :D i had tuition at 7.. was a bit late. no, actually 35 mins late. cos there was a jam.. i was standing in e bus w my heavy as a rock bag for like, more than an hour.. haha..

yesterday (saturday), i went to barker fun fair w cao, cassandra and wan theng.. it was quite crowded and hot.. haha, cassandra was super funny! she was like.."where do you wanna go? here hothot, there hothot, everywhere hothot!" we were laughing like mad! she's so cute and funny!! haha.. i saw a few of my friends there..didn't play any games. just ate and ate and ate.. haha. i was so bloated w food!! cassandra left a little earlier for church, so she gave us her tics.. then wan theng also gave me 10 bucks worth of tics cos she had alot also.. we tried and tried to get rid of the tics.. then in the end cao and i bought one of those money plants in the ikea cup each.. my cup's blue, hers is orange. haha.. hers is called 'wan' and mine is called 'theng'! haha.. after our dearest wan theng.. lol.. my plant has 5 leaves, so one is called T, one is H, one is E, one is N, and one is G! haha, just nice! :) but, cao's had 4 leaves.. so hers was W, A, N and ! i think.. haha. exclamation mark! haha. overall, we had quite a lot of fun.. although there wasn't much to do except eat..and i saw christopher michael lee (chrissypoo) frm s'pore idol sing..

anyway, there was church today! had a meeting before service and we finally finished the skit!!!! its been delayed for so long.. we're going to brian's house on tuesday to practice. i'm supposed to get scolded by jina, who is apparently my mother in the script. haha. anyway, we had to skip service to get everything done.. well, at least everything's a bit more organised now. oh, and the time's been changed to 3 to 5:30 p.m. cos the next day's easter service and they've gotta mop the floor in the social hall. haha.

after church we went to randall's house for worship practice. bought macs and ate along the way.. practice was quite ok.. and i managed to learn a bit of drumming from lixin! haha.. and some guitar chords as well. oh man.. there was that really funny part where ying hock kept on saying that the song "jesus you are my best friend" was a really corny song, and anyone could write it.. and it was like pri school kids going 'you are my best friend', not that jesus isn't our best friend.. but it was really funny and jina kept on laughing.. cos ying hock was like wailing to the sky "jesus you are my best friend".. haha.. so funny! then when we were practicing the song ying hock and randall's bro were down there rapping and going "yo yo" and doing those "rap" kinda actions and stuff.. cos its supposed to be very rap and hip-hop.. haha. so funny!!! ohwells, the next practice will be on friday. then we'll be going for the plant shakers concert in the evening!!

i'm going ice skating on wednesday with my friends.. jerlyn, mary, yun jing, wan theng, jamie.. and some others i think.. hope we can stay for as long as possible! haha.. the last time i went was so fun! too bad phoebe can't go this time..

anyway, i have tons of hw to get to.. although i really don't feel like doing it right now.. i have hw for every subject except chem and ss. sighz. oh wells, shall try to get it done asap. god will help me pull through! :)

class chapel on monday was quite ok.. although it was a bit disorganised and uncoordinated. oh wellz, we pulled through. :)

had health check up after that.. i need to get new glasses! :P

we got to check our progress report marks.. the best score for L1R5 was 6. but it wasn't me! haha. duh. i got 8.. there were also quite a few ppl with 7s and 8s. so fat hope for me topping the class! :Pi got 4 A1s, 3 A2s and 2 B3s. (if my memory serves me right). hope i'll improve..

classes have been quite boring thus far.. generally. we've been given alot of holiday hw already. bet my hols are gonna be super busy..

haha. jerlyn is asking everyone to go iceskating on wednesday! i wanna go.. but not sure cos we mat have a lifegroup outing on that day in e evening. i hope i can make it for both.. jerlyn wants to go on wed cos she wants to see IHP.. haha. she siao one la.. what "bu kan bai bu kan"..

we are officially getting our progress report tomorrow...

i can't wait for worship practice again this sunday.. i like lift up your eyes.. especially the part where we break after "lift up your eyes all of heaven's in worship".. super nice! my best friend's also quite cool. mann, we've got like, 6 ppl in the worship team.. 1 worship leader, 1 acoustic guitar, i electric guitar, i keyboard, 1 drum set and 1 bass. i bet worship is gonna rock for ICHTHUS episode 2! that's my church youth fellowship btw. :D everyone please try to come!! its on the 26th march at my church from 4 to 7! PLEASE COME!!!! you can bring your friends along too.. and there'll be food and games.. its gonna be really fun. i hope...

i'm feeling so lazy.. sighz...had project inkwell at school today.. was on traffic duty for guides..

i'm getting stressed out..with all the tests, hw and resposibilities, i suppose its inevitable. progress report's out next week! i hope i do well..although i bet my english marks are gonna be really bad. ss/lit marks are also quite depressing. although 70 isn't so bad, i still have really high expectations of myself. i want to do well, i need to do well. if i don't, i'll work doubly hard. if i don't, i'll feel weird. if i don't, i just won't know what to do.

i'm already so worried for Os.. its like, so hard to get an A1.. my bio tcher said tha u have to get 94 to get an A1! but i know i shouldn't worry abt it too much right now. its still a long way away...NOT! oh well, god will help me right? no use worrying abt it now..its all in god's hands...

i have 4 tests next week. i need to manage my time properly. i so need to study. term 1 has whizzed past like nobody's business. e 1st day of school just seemed like yesterday. i have a sudden nostalgia for OBS.

march hols are near. can't wait to take a break frm all that stress.. go ice skating w my friends.. playing badminton w my sis. sigh. i miss the good ol' days. life was so stress free in lower sec. next yr's gonna be even worse.

there's church tmr.. i scheduled e YF meeting to be at 8.45.. but i'll probably be early cos abbie's playing for chapel and has to be there at 8. after service we'll have worship practice at randall's house. yay! can't wait to jam on e piano.

i look forward to church. every single day. however, i'm not looking forward to a certain part of tmr. i don't wanna see someone. i just don't. sorry, i'm not making any sense am i? ok, i'll stop it.

there's class chapel on monday. i'm playing the keyboard. phoebe too. luckily i managed to borrow a keyboard from a neighbour. i love to play for god. :) if i can't, i don't know what i would do..
